soooo, bottomed out yesterday...

okay, i dont think this is a big problem but just wanted to make sure...
yesterday i was drivin through a parking lot goin about 20 or so, and didnt see this speed bump, actually its like a crosswalk, bout 8 inches high and 2.5-3 feet wide, i hit it pretty hard and bottomed out, could that have damaged anything? i havent noticed anything wrong but i havent looked underneath to check yet.

agreed but most of the time when you bottem out you hit the subframe, if you get down there and there is no fluid down there look for the scrape marks and that will tell you what you hit

yea but weird things get hit so often that you wouldnt expect, a thorough check would be the only way of knowing.

Idk, it is the elbow right infront of the rear wheel that goes from straight back to 90* towards the driverside.

Get springs and you will see what we are talking about.

I couldn't quite see it either until I installed them on my car.
