As far as food, I was gonna bring a cooler with pop and stuff. We gonna just do the pizza thing?

 

Pizza seems to be the best way to go so we don't have to pay for grilling. As long as everybody brings cash we should be good. I figured we could just grab some of the $5 pizzas from Little Ceasers. Count up how many people we have then figure out how many pizzas to get.

 

I know we are still working on July's meet....I will bring this up again on Sunday at the meet but I have an idea already for August....who likes the ZOO!!! lol

Looking to have people show up around 11 so we can get a picnic area. Once everyone shows up we will figure out the pizza thing then hopefully cruise sometime after we eat. There should be room for us to hang and toss a ball around or.stuff like that as well.

Great meet today. Had a few guys come out for the first time. Great to meet some new people from around the area. Looking forward to the August meet already at the Racine zoo. It is going to be sweet rolling in there with like 8-12 ecotecs and hopefully dominate the SportCompact class.

Hey guys i know im new here but i know im always down for a good car show. and i go to this one each year out in oakfield (family friends of mine set it up each year). $10 reg fee, they do the whole trophy thing, raffles, and food/drink, its split up by year also so if we get a lot of balts im sure one of us will take home the trophy lol. I know its a drive out there but it has a good turnout. a lot of older cars but i think if we can get enough balts out there we may change how people look at car shows and get more modern cars mixed into more shows.
if anyone is interested its August 4th at the Oakfield high school, 8am-2pm. we could meet up somewhere and come in together then possibly do a drive out in the country afterwords. if you have anymore questions feel free to send me a message.

 

ok....so here is the plan for the Zoo meet for August. I figure we could all meet at the Shell plaza off of i-94 and hwy 20 then all of us cruise into the meet together. The map says it is about 25 min to the zoo from the meet up spot. We will need to leave the meet up spot NO LATER than 8:30 to be there by 9 so we can all park together. he texted me saying that he wanted me to go to the "zoo meet" last night..

He said he's planning on being back in the middle of august (~15th) n he's being stationed in milwaukee for 4 years

 

Yeah, I knew about Milwaukee. I just didn't know when he was getting back.

 

so how many people are looking at going to the zoo meet?

 

Well....at least the 3 of us listed above. I can think of at least 2 others that pretty much gauranteed to show then counting on about 3-5 last minute people prob.....like 8-12 cars is my goal....the more the merrier.
