random question...but does anyone know what time the evo gets on the nordshleiffe or the nurmburgring? i dont think ive ever seen it up there...has it even raced these courses?

There just seems to be enough hillbillies around these parts that can't get over the fact that there are four cylinders pushing just as much power as a v8, not to mention the damn nationalists that would buy their domestic car because it's a domestic as opposed to a cheaper and equal powered import.

As far as V8 vs I4, its not about whats better because its obvious the V8 will always be better because of the laws of themodynamics. Its about how much money you have. V8's are found in higher end cars, an I4 is cheaper to make so its found in lower end cars. When it comes down to it, its all about money. a LS7 is $12,000+ just for the motor. Yes you can make a 4 cylinder powerful, but you take a similar turbo setup with the same boost (and twice as much money) and you can make the V8 have 4 times as much power due to much higher CFMs.

brand loyalty is just go with what you know, if you know you like something then by all means have a large over-inflated opinion about it, but it's just an opinion. personally i like both cars and would love to have one of each in my driveway... but until then i'm just gonna keep wishing i had 'em.

I hope no one on here believes that "brand loyalty" is going anywhere. This is a car forum primarily for Cobalt drivers. Over half the threads I've read on this site make some reference to blah, blah, blah being "better" than 4cyls, blahx3 better than imports, no replacemrnt blah, blah blah, etc. A lot of people on this site believe this. I'm not gonna make my opinions anymore obvious than they already are. I'll just leave it as people are going to have their reasons for saying ABC is better than XYZ.

I like evos and would like to have my own but every person ive met with one was a DICK!!
