Spark plug cover removing

Exclamation Spark plug cover removing

Ok i am new here and i am trying to upgrade my Spark plugs. I want to increase hp and mpg which kind should i get. also i have looked in the owners manual and i can not see how to remove the spark plug cover. I think it is on top of the engine but i am not sure how to remove it. can anyone help with some pic or some diagrams.?


2005 2.2 L

I have also put a k&n cold air but i want to change my plugs.

ok. so what motor? i may be wrong on this but i really dont think plugs alone are gonna increase mpg or hp

you won't notice any difference from the plugs... unless you were turboed FI then you could run a step colder and get better detonation, but on a stock 2.2 you won't really notcie it

Plugs aren't gonna do alot but you can be the judge. All you do is unplug the ignition module and take out the exposed 10mmhead bolts, wiggle the cover back and forth the unseat the spark boots and pop it off, no biggie.

I'm with everyone else. If you're engine is stock, save your money and leave the stock plugs alone.

changing your plugs won't really give you any better power, or mpg, unless the plugs you have now aren't working properly. save your money and get some real mods.
