splash gaurds?
I have looked & have not found any made for the SS/SC as my dealer said they were & upon fitment I found they were for the stock Cobalts.
The only thing I have found is the flat plastic with the Chevy emblem & I really don't like them!
So I'm still looking as they would save the rockers alot of abuse if they made them to fit

Hey fella's, i just ran down to Canadian Tire and bought two pairs of these lovely Chevrolet mud flaps. I have similar (Heartbeat of America) ones on my Caprice Classic and they take a heck of a beating. I like'm and they came with the screws. They look fine and do the job for me!

Ok guys, got close ups. Now, I'm sorry its dark, i'm sorry the car is dirty (just came back from dirty Winnipeg, where it always snows :P ), but hopefully these help. I hung mine with about 1cm of "overhang" i guess. it stops just about all the trash on the roads when driving staight. Also, they haven't dragged on anything, not once.
Front tire, passenger side.

Back tire, passenger side. (looking backwards) 4 screws per flap, one is hidden inward of the bottom screw.

I have seen the bowties in gold as well... if that helps. If painting them, i might suggest using that plastic Fusion paint, i got some on the Caprices flaps and it won't come off!

So you post there are flaps for the SS/SC but there pointless hmmm, show me a link as GM states they fit the SS/SC but they don't
I have had flaps on all my cars & Trucks & the rocker pannels are clean & painted as most cars without them have chips from hell all over the rockers & most the paint is gone so I guess in CA you might not need to worrie about it but in Iowa or most Central states WE DO

Yea Thecaptian those are the ones I have been pondering on getting but it just blows that they have molded flaps for the base Balts & non for the SS/SC cuz they usually make them to use the exsisting screws & clips already on the car as I hate drilling new holes!
Drill new? The screws with the flaps i got were self tapping. just measured, and mirrored (left to right) so both sides match, and zing! They're in. Three go solidly into the lovely plastic fender, and one is a sort of support screw, going into the plastic fenderwell. (the forth screw, unseen in the pics. it just basically helps the flaps stay straight.)
