Sport Compact Pro / carsponsorships.com are 100% for sure, SCAMS. Even if they say its "in association with/in partnership with/etc" reputable companies like RKSport, etc. (they have taken to doing that as of late).

You do NOT get sponsored by ANYONE by paying money up front.

I had a full ride with RKSport. It came about by meeting RK employees at shows, getting to know them, getting them drunk with strippers. (well, that part isn't required but it helped)

When I applied it was a 16 page proposal as to what I could do for them which took awhile to get approved.


REAL sponsorships are a PROCESS. Not paying some amount of money and you're approved. Period.


edit: Sorry to burst your bubble like this since I know how excited I was to get sponsored, but back then, these scams weren't really very widespread.

im gonna have to agree 1 of my friends got owned by carsponsorships.com and paid 90$ for that pos and got like 2 sponsorships from **** companies. My other friend though did some pimp my ride sponsor from them and got 9 sponsors... he got free tires from dunlop, sponsor from blapunkt usa which had some awosme discounts on there stuff, and some other stuff but mainly they are just scams.

 

hey if he knows someone who has actually saved money on some parts then more power to him, and i'm very interested to hear if he does as well.

If thats the same company im talking about anybody and get sponsored from them. All you have to do is fill out some on-line pages and your all set. I was accepted for their "sponsorship" and they called me and all. but just knowning how sketchy they are i didnt take it . but i hope it works out for your tho

Iv seen some posts of them b4 when i was thining about it and after researching them. its just a waste of money. And those stickers that you have to put on ur car arnt gonna look that cool either

Spomsorships are not paid for. The whole point that you get sponsored is to save you money. I dont understand your thinking.

 

honestly, the only reason everyone here is having such a big deal about this is because he used the word sponsor. this is a little different than your typical sponsorship. maybe he would have gotten a better response had he said that for $40 he bought a permanent discount to a list of parts. i know of a few people on here who wouldnt mind that. give him a break!
