Welp wrecked the ss/sc on the way back to my apartment from aunts house. I was on the freeway coming home around 10:00 pm. There were not many people on the road with was kinda odd. Anyway I was doing about 75. everything thing was normal, i was just driving listening to my ipod. When randomly my d3 indash blipped and Tom Petty Free Fallin' starts playing. I look down going wtf. Then I looked up at my mirror so see the guy behind me coming up one me really fast. He swerves to miss but clipped my back bumper.
Either way him just touching me at near 80 was enough to send me out of control. I hit the brakes and my back end kicked out so i tryed to counter steer it but i never had a chance. I went into the side wall doing about 45. I didnt go head on, i went on an angle so i kinda bounced off then came to a stop. Luckly there was no one else around or it might have been much worse.
All in all the car held up really well. My air bags blew, and my windows smashed out but everything around me did its job to protect me. I dislocated my shoulder, but the paramedics helped my with that. I know the car is totaled, then engine was halfway under the car because thats what its designed to do in the case of a front end impact. But either way i know its done.
Im really lucky. The ******* was drunk. Though he did stop to see if everything was alright. Cops got him on wreckless driving and a DUI. Ill have pics up tomorrow.

 

That sucks man but atleast you are ok. I see a lawsuit in your future

Shitty! That is really to bad, glad you are for the most part OK though!

Gotta watch the breaks though. Thats how I totaled my first car. Lost control and hit the breaks, sending me off the road!
