I seen this thread turning into a a a lnf/srt4 flame war
But to be objective the cobalt is a new car relatively speaking so it does alot of things better than the srt 4 stock for stock like some of yall mention above....now when it comes to modding its all preference. As long as you have the money you can have 500hp cobalt or neon. Just a matter how much you want to spend.
As far as NRST4 being better in a straight line..Ive seen cobalts dominate there
As far as Cobalts being better in in turns Ive seen couple NSrt4 tear willow up
Now with that being said those cars were modded. As long you have the time, funds and patience...anyone can get what they want , well within reason of course, out of both cars. Its Just preference
My exp vs neons is I messed with a couple stage 1 and pulled one stock and shut another 1 down with gsm1. So yeah i beat a couple but i know there are monster out there so I dont think im the ****.
I have met a couple of neon owner too and they were just regulars dudes like me who likes modding cars and pushing the envelope as much as they can and want. They were pretty cool actually. We are all enthusiast and have the same passion we just choose different platforms to go and mod on. Im cool with any car modder as long as they cool and not a dick...like BMW guys..they are douches...lol!!! ...oh and the corvette club out here....a bunch of old stuck up farts.

I'd take an SRT-4 w/ ACR package over a Cobalt SS any day sorry. The SRT4 is the BEST, and I repeat BEST, sounding 4 banger there is, period. The aftermarket for them is ridiculous, they run big turbos much more reliably then the LNF or LSJ. They just plain look meaner from the front.
If I had to keep the vehicle stock I would take a LNF by a slim margin.

i know jackshit about either 1 of the cars, dont car to. from what ive picked up the srt is nicely equipped with a kickass aftermarket unlike the cobalt... sooo its faster.... its still fugly

gods gift to earth? bro, have you been reading around on these forums? lol
i 100% agree. i love the cobalt, i love the neon. but from my experience and years of reading and researching, the srt really does make more power and torque. dont get me wrong, there are plenty of nasty ass cobalt ss/sc and cobalt ss/tc as well as some LS/TC's, but as far as whats available for them, there isnt much at all

You don't have to be an owner to figure out which car has more potential IMO. I have many friends with both SRT4's and Cobalt SS's. I know the pro's and con's of both, and while you might need a new transmission every now and then for the SRT4, it's better then having to buy a new LNF or return it back to stock for warranty to run a big turbo.
werd lol. im not gettin hostile wit you or anything, i was just sayin there are alot of cocky owners on this forum as well. but i feel you on the point of cocky owners with SRTs. i see them alot on the srtforum as well. im just not a big fan of cocky owners. them i just ignore and move on about my business
