How it works:
-Contact me with your details and plans for the group
-You can start it for your city or region
-If you get approved, you get to be the leader and Admin of your Chapter.
-You get forums for your chapter and you get to coordinate all events and gatherings for your group.
-I will work with you and provide you with any help you need to make your group a success.

When your group is established, members can apply for your group form the profile.

The group you are part of will be displayed you your profile, and as I mentioned, you get a forum for your group.

This is just an idea I had for a while; I am open to any suggestions.
We can do this by Regions, States, or Major cities.

I wouldnt mind seeing a STL SS but like someone said I'm not much of a leader. I should though since I was the first one to get one.

I think major cities would be the best way to do things. New York, Philly, Toronto, Chicago, STL etc...

 

Maybe we should go west coast vs east coast and then south vs the north

Well, you know I'm in Lakeland (close enough). I'm self-employed with not a whole lot of free time (except lately, hopefully business will pick up soon), nor a regular work schedule, but I wouldn't mind getting out to meet some fellow Cobalt owners every now and then. Maybe some of you college-age guys can introduce me to some college-age girls, too...

 

Has anyone started one near the Chicago land area?

 

You should make the different groups let people join and then we can decide whos the boss once people join... you can only get so much intrest from an idea unitl its actually happening

So what exactly do you do once a local chapter is set up? Meet up in parking lots and check each other's cars out? I'm not being facetious or anything. I'm really just curious.

 

Naw, there's much more to it than that. You get a secret decoder ring, learn and practice the secret handshake, eat lots of ice cream, and on Sundays we go out cow tipping...

 

ya if edmonton gets one ill join but like some peeps said im not a good leader so i cant start one and run one :P plus my lacxk of knowledge bout cars would make me a bad leader dude
