starting issues, do i need a tune for this fuel pump??

ok so last few days, especially if the car has been parked for a while, i go to start it, hear the starter for a few seconds then the car doesn't turn on. even sometimes if i let the fuel pump run. after a few tries car finally starts. leads me to believe fuel pump or solenoid is going bad.

can anyone relate to this?

and if i do replace the pump which i dont think would be hard can i run this one? its cheap on ottp's website right now. gotta know asap so i can buy it and fix this issue, dont wanna be stranded

Deatsch Werks DW200 Fuel Pump

thanks!

its wierd! not sure if its the fuel pump because it sounds normal and runs normal (once it starts that is lol)

if it was a solenoid it would have not worked at all

i think my injectors are fine (only 10k old) so yea. not sure

yeah i replaced mine when it had problems after fueling up but i have a feeling it isnt the problem since i have a catch can and no oil would be going into the intake being sucked up by that (first one was pretty nasty from blow by and thats why it didnt work)

Check the fuel pressure on the rail. Should be like between 50-60. That will rule out the fuel pump.
