I had mods within a month of owning my car. To be honest thou, i worry about every change in engine sound or if the car's pulls different or feel's flat. I never worried about that stuff when it was stock. BUT then again, every car or motorcycle /snowmobile/leafblower..lol .... ive owned has had performance work done in one way or another .I just can't keep my hands off when it comes to making something run just a bit better.

I've never really gone for appearance mod's, except maybe cutting off stickers or removing badges. Not that its a bad thing , everyone has their own cup of tea . My 2 cent's .

My Nissan is heavily modded, but i'm just gonna do minor mods on my g5 gt. My Typhoon intake should be here in another week so can''t wait for that, then maybe exhaust after that.

sure there are, not every cobalt owner is a member of this forum. basically, finding out about mods is the reason to join a forum. (there are some who just join to learn about recalls and stuff.. but not many)

Yeah, its slow. But this is the fastest car I've owned, and I'm having fun learning about it and modding it.

Why'd you sell the Cobalt (Aside from obvious reasons)?

Modded ... but FACTORY MODDED.

If you want to rip everything out fellas, fine. That's your choice.

But then don't whine if the dealer officially voids your warranty. That's his choice.

Sure, if you put on an exhaust - the dealer might overlook it. But that's about it.

If you decide to go crazy modding, then have fun.

But if you screw up your car in the process, then don't expect Chevy to pay for it ...

Ditto. If GM designed it for the car I'll buy it. For me, it's worth knowing that the car is "bow tie" from the ground-up...........like the "Yenko Camaros" of the past, albeit it's a Cobalt.
