strut bar and headers question any help would be cool!

I want to buy the dc sport front strut bar....is it worth it? some say yes and some say no. I have a cobalt LT 2007. I found pacesetter headers on eBay as well would those be good or is there any other recommendations?

Get the badmab header for 165. It bolts right up to your stock down pipe. I think the pacesetter header has a different flange.

A strut bar isn't really worth the costs.

gmpp header, zzp header or badmab are all pretty good headers. more important than those are probably your downpipe and catback because they have big restrictions (then again so does the stock header)

and yea strut bars are pretty much for looks, since your strut towers are connected to the firewall theres really no flex that the strut bar can limit. but i do have one and it does look cool!

Because the firewall on our cars act like a strut bar so they're only for look. And pacesetter is not very good, you should go with badmab headers instead.

Price wise, go badmab and at least a ss/sc cat pipe. I suggest a zzp longtube with a 2.5 flange. As stated before a strut bar is not needed on our cars.

Changed the sound lol. Didn't really notice a difference in power until I got the header. The stock exhaust manifold bolts were also very hard to take off.

Zzp longtube was the greatest thing I have done to the car. If your gonna get one in the long run save your money and do it later rather then changing it out twice.

This is the best advice here. Buy something quality like zzp and you won't ever have to worry about it.

I would not go Bad-Mab some people have had great experiences with them and some do not. I have been through 2 bad-mabs in just over a years time and now I'm waiting on the 3rd which are out of stock. The first one was warped enough to blow out the gasket and the second I couldn't even put on the car it was so messed up. I am now out $30 in shipping and need new exhaust manifold studs and bolts from changing them so many times not to mention all the gaskets I've used trying to seal it. with the money and time I've wasted on stupid **** I could have bought a nice header setup. end rant.
