a stupid question? maybe...

hey guys, sitting in computer class and i just figured this out because i pretty much have nothing else to do right now. I bought my car yesterday, and the stubby antenna on mine is on the back side of the roof, while many others i have noticed have their antenna on the front side of the roof. I personally think it looks better on the back, but is there any reason for this? Let me know what you think. Thanks

i think the one on the front is for onstar, while the one on the back is for XM

nope I dont think so ...xm was allways at the back with a fin style antenna ...however onstar was a different antenna at the front (ugly) however I beleive for 06 they are mixed into one fin style antenna at the back (where xm is allready)
