Stupid water...
Stupid water...
2006 LSJ.
When I first got this car, I noticed the passenger side floor was wet after it rained. I cleaned out the drainage by the sunroof. Next rainfall, bone dry. Had no problems for the next 2-3 months, until today. I got my car back from the mechanic after 3 days and it rained REALLY hard yesterday. Got a good amount of inches of rain in just a few hours. Well, now the puddle is back. I was out there for a good 40 minutes with a hair dryer just trying to keep it damp instead of soaked.
SHORT VERSION: The only spot that is wet is the passenger side floor. Not the door, not the vents, not the seats, nothing. Just the damn floor. It's almost as if it's flooding from under-neath. Anyone else experience this? Or have an idea for a fix? I don't have a garage, so I can't just hide it.

i mention this because i had some 5 1/4 speakers in my doors with mdf adapter plates. water coming past the window seal get into the door (completely normal), and it would drip on the back of the speaker, run around the speaker and go right through the mdf. water then drips on the inside of the door panel , comes out between the door and the panel and drips on the carpet on the carpet, and runs down and pools on the floor. took me a couple months to figure that one out. put the original gm speaker plates and some 6 1/2" speakers back in, no more water leak as they seal to the door.

my girlfriends car had the windshield replaced and after a couple of months it started to leak at the top passenger side corner. The water ran all the way down to the middle of the carpet on the passenger side floor.
I thought it was the sun roof drains, ended up being the windshield.
good luck !
