One of the built TVS cars hasn't dyno'd yet. But I don't foresee much over ~340whp. No one has ran one of these with a highly modified head yet.

IMO, LE5 built short block with a heavily modified LSJ head would be the real way to go if you seriously want to get as much power from a blown LSJ. Still be tough to get 400, but definitely closer.

yea i have to agree, the best route would be a 2.4l shortblock, 10:1 compression, heavily ported lsj head with good springs and valves, a set of gm racing cams, cooling mods, header, full exhaust, 73lb injectors and tons of tuning, you could see 350whp. the thing is with the extra displacment you can turn the blower a little faster to get the same boost as a 2.0 would and you will have one torquey SOB of a motor.

^^^^ But it sure doesn't fail when you pull decently modded STi's, Evo's and MS3's with that oh so holy "snail"

By decently modded I mean Bigger or added FMIC's, Charge Piping, 3" Turbo back exhaust, intake, and tune(possibly more). Cause all that costs a lot more than the amount of money I have put into my car.

There were actually a few that have done this. There was two that were S/C and T/C (the kit Hahn had or still has), but it was a tuning nightmare. One of them went back to stock and I don't know what happened to the other. There have been a couple of twin turbo's as well. One isn't finished though.

Its not a problem when you all your time and money dedicated to it. Do you have that time and money?
