A few days ago when I started my car I got a message that says "SVC tire control". All of my tires are fine but I already knew for a month that my TPMS is malfunctioning after I had my car jump started. I tried resetting it myself but that failed. Is it really urgent that I get it checked out?

no its just for tire pressure sensors, its a pain in the ass to reset on a cobalt.

 

Yes I've tried myself and failed miserably. I followed the instructions perfectly and it didn't work at all. The bonging noise is getting rather annoying. I might give it another try tomorrow before totally giving up.
