T-boned and Totaled...

So this past Wednesday I was driving home from the bank when a guy driving a Ford Explorer ran a stop sign and T-boned the **** out of me. I locked up the wheels but was unable to stop before smashing into a parked car. The side airbags went off and both myself and passenger are ok, but my poor SS is well F****d Up to say the least. Now I am looking into parting it out and am interested in how much $$ I will actually get out of it. My car was a salvage title due to it hitting a guardrail in the first 4k of its life. It was repaired beautifully and now has just over 30k on it. Not sure if anyone has been in this situation before, but any ideas in the value of the car right now would be greatly appreciated.

The car: 08 Cobalt SS/TC
Mods: Magnaflow Catback, Hahn Intercooler (may be smashed), Injen Intake, High flow DP, Lowered Springs, Hurst shifter, custom ebrake w/ redline boot cover, Halo's with HID's (also probably smashed on driver side)

That's a painful sight but at least you're alive. Best of luck moving forward.

When I had my SS/NA, I was T-boned by an excursion. My car looked like yours, insurance company gave me 4K. Your results may vary but cobalts aren't known for their resale value. I'd part it out.

With that said, how much for the following:
•sunroof frame
•wheels
•dash board filler (the part underneath the steering wheel where the sliding box goes into
•passenger side dashboard trim
•trunk liner
•trunk spare tire cover (giant piece of cardboard covering the spare)
•turbo
•front driver floor mat

Hey everyone, just thought I would let you know that insurance ended up totaling it and I will not be parting it out due to the buy back price. Thanks!

Yea I would assume he was texting or something because he blew through the stop sign and was about to go the wrong way down the road due to it turning into a one way do not enter...
