Ok, so my friend who is 17, his mommy bought him a 06 Mitsu Eclipse (slower then an LS, my friend raced him and beat him). Well this is a kid whoes mommy buys him everything, and he doesn't appreciate anything at all.

So hes done some mods. to his car, such as CAI, painted calibers, carbon fiber interior accents, and other exterior stuff. Well, the kid thinks he is inevitable. So he says "When your in the car (as in me), he drives like a dick and shows off." I tell him that he doesn't need to prove anything to me, etc, but he still does it, cause he thinks he's all that with a slow car.

Anyway, back to the story. Well ever since he has gotten it, he has been doing stuff with it, such as peeling out, to donuts, now to doing stand still burnouts for about thirty seconds, actually get the left tire completly bald. Well he's been doing it very frequently even when I'm not in the car, and he has just been a complete dick with his personality, and driving.

His parents are divorced, and he drives the car every other week. This week he gets into his car (week before he burned the **** outta the tires, getting them bald, needing two non-stock ones), and he puts it into drive, and the car revs, and does not go anywhere. He finally gets it moving, some how, and hes out and his car is not shifting into second liek it should be, and its very bad.

So he tells his mom and his mom thinks its the power steering problem he had with his car previously to this...so it gets towed to the dealer, after a day of waiting, he gets a call and they say "We found that the car was abused from the rubber inside the wheel well and the two completely diferent tires, and your tranny is shot only with 6500 miles on it, so it is not underwarranty, and worst comes to worst will cost $5000 for a new tranny."

What does he say? "My mom will pay for it because I don't have $5000..."

I laughed histerical and am making fun of him for it cause hes not a very good friend to start out with, and second of all he finally (hopefully) learned his lesson, and his mom would sell the car if it was paid off, and I told him he would get blow his trans, but he claims its "under warranty."

So a word to the young, DO NOT ABUSE YOUR CAR ESPECIALLY IF UNDER WARRANTY, THEY WILL GET YOU!

I thought it was funny...Bye bye Eclipse, it was nice being in the passenger seat and getting smoked by a stock Cobalt LS

Thats exactly what I said, and he blew one tire out because he hit a curb cause he wasn't paying attention...

Now he needs to confess to that too...

 

His mom needs to yank that car from underneath him for a month and then he'll be appreciative to even drive a vehicle...
