they smashed my ss sc

i found out today why my cobalt build date got changed.
gm pulled my car for quality testing. my dealer told me smashing them is part of there testing.

Sorry bro. My SS/SC is built, but it's sitting in a lot somewhere "staging for transport"

That does suck, but it doesn't make sense.

Normally they don't pull a customer order to "smash" instead they produce a couple extra per cycle to do that kind of testing.

Something seems fishy. I'd check with somebody else at that dealership or call GM myself.

Yeah, this sounds to me like "Lets tell this guy a story to shift blame over why his car is taking so long to be built from us at the dealership over to GM"

actually all this does make sense when they make a run of SS's and there are a few bad ones they take all the ones they made and crush or correct them all....
