So I've had my Cobalt for a little over a month now and I'm ready to start making up a "Wishlist" of sorts for stuff I want to buy for it.
Since I can't find a set of rims (stock or aftermarket) to replace my steelies they will have to wait. (It's a matter of both the price and not finding a set I actually like [i.e I want something that doesn't scream ricer but I don't want plane jane rims] and Im taking ideas for what to get)
So my next two things are exhaust and intake. I wanted to get y'all's opinions on which order I should buy/install products in and which are good and which are crap.
For my 2.2 LT I was lookin at a K&N or a ZZP intake (I figured they net about the same numbers performance wise)
But here's the big question I have, should I...
A) go with the ZZP 2.5 cat back
B) buy a muffler and take it to a shop and have it done custom
Then my next question is should I get headers and a down pipe first then the exhaust.
I'm sort of handy with a wrench but I'm still worried about downtime with installing the parts and the difficulty.
I know there's a lot of questions I'm asking but the slightest bit of help is appreciated.

I plan on getting something like this when i can afford it

they arent necessarily too flashy but they add a definite flair.
If you like noise, go with the zzp cat back. it will get you pulled over for noise violations the damn thing is loud. if you go with just a muffler, it makes the whole exhaust sound like **** unless you plan on getting a glasspack. glasspack sounds much better than the standard fart can.
i would say get the headers/downpipe after the catback...just make sure the **** fits when you order it
