Let me guess you ran the ls2 out of oil causing the nocking and metal shavings lol, well that's what I hear happens to a lot of LS motors, cause the aluminum block burns up oil.

Naw, didn't run it out of oil. The problem with the LS design (at least in the AWD TBSS's) is the oil pick up is in the front of the oil pan. So, under hard acceleration, all the oil gets forced to the back of the pan, running the oil pump dry and causing issues. As far as I know, this is only common the the AWD TBSS's. The problem can be dealt with most times by running a 1/2 qt to a qt over "full". There are also modified oil pans, modified oil pick ups, accusump, and dry sump setups to deal with this problem. I didn't do this to the motor however. It's kind of a long story but i think the issue was already in progress when I bought the truck, I just happened to finish it off LOL

Cats are low maintenance, open the door to let them out and just fill their food and water dish, dogs are a pain in the ass you have to walk them then take them out at night to take a leak or a dump.

Yezzir. Forged & balanced rotating assembly, modified oil pump, ported & polished heads, stainless steel valves, stiffer valve springs, LEPerfomance supercharger cam, headers, new tune, and quite a few more things I can't remember right now. I am shooting for high 400's - low 500's AWHP.

oh yes. I want to see it all done! Are you porting the stock 243s ? I think that's whats they came with or 799's ? With all those mods im calling around 485 awhp. Uncle made 464 on a MUSTANG dyno with a lq4 motor, and tqv3 and ported 243s. But you have a ture ls2 so I see you making more power. Where are you tunning it once its all broken in?

Yea 243's. I am having the whole build and all the tuning done at Leading Edge Performance in Las Vegas.

oh nice. I was going to recommend Wongs Performance Engineering in Vancouver. . His name is Tom. He knows Lsx motors inside and out.

Well I haven't shipped the truck yet. I'll check out Wong's before I ship it down to L.E.P.

Ya man. You can check out his facebook page. and his website. He's a smaller shop, but does the stuff right. Also might be cheaper cause you don't have to ship to Las Vegas lol

I'll check him out for sure. Even though shipping to Vegas is only $650. And L.E.P. was going to do everything for $10k. If Wong can do all that for around the same price, i will definitely consider him. i just know almost all the mf'ers around here wanted 10k for used motors with install........ BULLSHIT
