Tired of replacing blower motors.....anyone found one that doesn't suck ass?

Ordered my 4th replacement today. First 2 were covered under warranty, 3rd one i bought from the dealer, and todays was bought at Autozone.

Every single time it just starts squeaking. I took the last 2 apart, and the shaft bushings were just wore out. No amount of lube would help it. GM really fucked the pooch on these things.

Anyone ever tried to change the junk bushings out with roller bearings or know a permanent fix? I've owned other cars with 400,000 miles on them and they were still on the original blower motor. Changing these out on these cobalts once a year is pretty damn stupid.

I am interested in this too. Mine is making a racket on everything but the first speed.
Post the inner and outer diameter of the bushing as well as pics of a disassembled one and maybe someone can find a bearing that will fit.

Just curious how often do you change your cabin air filter and how dusty is your normal driving route?

when mine went i went to a local junker yard and they had an aftermarket one already out of a previous car they had come through there. no idea what brand it was, was different than the gm replacment though, 6 months and no issues

maybe i cna look for a tag, would it be located? on the outer casing? ( cars in the shop atm so i cant go out and look right now )

I change my filter once every year or about 15k miles, first time doing it sucked because the previous owner never did it.
