Tires

I just ordered the BFGOODRICH KDW 2's for my SS/SC. I was wondering if anybody else has them and do they like them.

They look very aggressive. I only ordered two for the front. The rear are still the stock tires with full tread. i only have 11k on my car. The front wheels and tires were from my old ss/sc with 30k. when i bought my new car the previous owner wore the tires out in 5k so now i have to buy new ones.

Umm completely different car with different style/purpose tires. The SS/SC's come with Pirelli PZero Rosso's with a W speed rating and a 200 tread wear rating. Pretty soft tires.

Your car came with Pirelli P6 Four Seasons an H speed rating and a 400 tread wear rating. You're tires are all season tires while the SS/SC's are only rated for summer driving.

I'd be careful mixing tires though. Won't hurt too much but will feel different.

As long as he's not mixing tread patterns on the same axel he should be OK. the only other consideration is wintertime/wet whether driving if he plans to do any. If the front tires have more grip than the rear and the front end bites the rear could end up passing him up if you know what I mean.
