Touching Up...
Touching Up...
Anyone attempted to touch up metallic paint? It seems like the paint needs to be put on very light or it gets too dark, anyone able to effectively touch up? The paint is scratched where the previous wing once was *not sure how!* in 3 places, too deep to buff. Any suggestions? What is the best method, and are the paint pens the best way to go? Post pics of the job too if possible, I am looking to patch my trunk so well that you couldnt even tell the scratches are there...
I have just had the same problem happen, yes the mettalic paint has to be put on thin layers, I say have your paint code put in a spray can.Wet sand the spot and give it a try

But it is still a great colour.. I have had many compliments even from people working at GM dealerships.
