Hey guys, we went to the track today with the midwest meet guys, and i just wanted to let everyone know how it went. i ran 4 times, and won ALL 4. My fastest time was 15.56. I race 3 2.2 cobalts, and one Mazda Rx8. Very proud of the balt today. Im gonna post up some pics soon, i also have some video clips on all my races. lol. But yea. Anyway i installed the 2.4 manifold yesterday and got to really put it too the test. The car pulls WAY harder at like 4500-6500. Definite improvent over stock. All in all im pretty happy, i went there today hoping to run a 15.5 and everyone told me i was in dreamland, but i did, so im super happy. But next time i go, hopefully ill be running some Nitrous or something to get me into the 14s.

Yea dude i remember, Your the only 2.2 i didnt race. Today was fun tho bro. That was my first time ever at a track, and i can tell its gonna be my new hobby.

 

my first was yesterday, but now im debating a season pass lol, all day today i was running consistant 16.3's, i dont think its to bad for just having CAI. now i need to get exhaust and maybe think about F/I

One day 13s will be for me, I think that day is today. Wish my car wanted it as bad as i do. lol.

 

prolly whenever money allows, when fun nights are going its 30$ to race from like 5-10 or sumthin, and lines arent long at all

 

that is a nice time there,my best so far has been a 15.7, puutting me somewhere on the top of fastest n/a 2.2 coby in texas, will see where i really rank up at the lonestar bash inwhich most of the cobalt will come to one show/track, and run, saem track, dam conditions=better results amung each other, but yeah, i ran a 15.7@85.8, now idk if i could of done better, im surei could i only got to run 3 times, 1 was a warm up whcih ended with a 15.9, the other was the 15.7, and the next was a run i missed second gear and ran a 16.7, the fourth was a another 15.7, i will be hoping for better times now, i dyno'd 3hp more than last time among the whole rpm band, so i should show lower times hopefully

i just installed mine sunday morning and feels a hell of alot better over stock, im just waiting to get my cat fixed before i take it to the track

 

hey Yz are those msr 138s i see on your balt? if they are i used to have a set on my black 2.2 untill about a month and a half ago. i loved those rims. i just loved the Sportmaxx 006s with the red lip more hahaha

 

Yea DUDE. ^^ love my rims. Im really suprised that i ran a 15.5 given that its hard for people to hit 15s at all. Im very proud of my cute little 2.2, lol.
