is there a way to turn off the traction control on the cobalts

not sure but mine does i went to spin my tires and it didnt let me so i hope i can turn it off

i do cause anytime i go to race someone at a light if my wheels spin a bit the car studders and tehn takes off actually kind of embarrasing

yea the button for 08 and 09 is right of the wheel below the hazards.
idk about older balts.
you know when you pull up the e-brake, the traction is off? well i have heard you can pull it up one click and it will be fine. but idk if i would personally do it...

put a switch to ground in between the ebrake ground switch and you will be able to turn off T/C with out pulling up on the ebrake

how hard would that be to install

you need 2 wires...a switch and an alligator clip...and a good ground and a place to put your switch...took me 5-10 minutes to do
