Arrow Be a traitor...or not be a traitor?

Ok, thought I had my mind made up for quite a while now, but stopped in at the local dealership and this 09 tc sedan is still there...been there for like a year. Nobody wants to buy it because it's rally yellow i'm guessing. Currently, I've got an 07 SS/SC and I like it but it's not very "practical" with the upcoming arrival of my son. Sooo...4 doors would be much more handy and I personally like the rally yellow, it's grown on me. I'm gonna have enough money here soon to do 1 of two things....I can either go big turbo on the LSJ and keep my car OR I can trade it in on that new TC and still be able to afford some small things like exhaust, tune, charge pipes, etc. Having the worst time in the world here trying to make up my mind cuz I really do like my current cobalt, but I think I like the one at the dealership just a little bit more...opinions?

btw, if it helps, I'm not going for rediculous amounts of power...just around 350-400whp for now. I might decide to crank up the power later on down the road, but for now that'd be enough lol

Turboing the LSJ will be cheaper than buying the new tC in the long run, because you know you're going to want to mod the tC.

The thing is, I can afford to mod the TC slightly at first. Later on down the road is when the big power makers will come into play

i gotta agree that a sedan may be better for you with a kid on the way. i find the coupes to be a pain to get in and out of the back.

+1 for trading for a tc sedan.

Pedders aren't for looks. They are a performance spring for handling, not just drop w/ side effect of handling

Mike, the car will be until we tune

I traded in my '07 SS/SC for my '09 SS Sedan. It was mostly because of our new son and I can tell you I'm really glad I did it. I can't imagine trying to get him into the backseat of my old coupe.

I like the springs on it also, I think a little more drop in the back and less in the front and it would look great, whats with everybody wanting to "slam" things. Like wicked said they are performance also.

if you need more space then why not go with the tc, im not sure what you have done to the balt you have now but im assuming after putting some money into the tc it will be quicker, you'll have room for your kid and when he/she isnt in the car you'll surprise the hell out of a few people im sure.

Join us 4 doors Heh. I too have a small son, (2 years old). When we first had him may wife had a VW GTI and we would take my car (at the time 328i) everywhere as a family since the GTI was a huge PITA to get the kid in and out of. And the rally yellow looks pretty bad-ass on the sedan
