wasn't there instructions in the kit..? Look behind the foam pieces if you don't see them.

I remember it being super easy just can't remember exactly how.

Isn't there a start/stop recording button after you've done that? If so, once you start/stop it will automatically save it to the card... I believe.

I remeber asking Vince this when I did mine. Here's his esponse:

"I’d also recommend “datalogging” the car on each dyno run so I can check to see how accurate the timing curve is. To use the datalogger, just follow the directions below. Note, if you want to “data log” on the street prior to going to the dyno, I can make any adjustments necessary based on the data logs before you go to the dyno… If you generate a datalog just running the car up in 1st and 2nd gear, this will give us a good idea of whether we can do anything more to the tune ahead of time.

NOTE: You must have an SD card to use the data logger. Data logging requires more storage space then the GT Tuner has available in its main memory. If you need recommendations for SD cards, please contact us. In some cases an SD card may have been included with your GT Tuner order. Check under the foam in the shipping case to see if an SD card has been included. If you have a GT Tuner that has no buttons on it, then an SD card will be pre-installed in the SD card slot

Step 1 – Charge the GT Tuner per the included directions (if applicable)

Step 2 – Turn the GT Tuner on. At the “Tap to begin screen”, press and hold the lower left hand corner of the screen for 5 seconds, then release. A new screen will appear with instructions for using the data logger. Follow the on screen instructions. When you’re finished, press DONE.

Step 3 – After finishing the data logging session, there will be a data log stored on the SD card. Please email all files with the extension TDL to Trifecta Performance for analysis.

You'll need a SD card reader of some sort. Same way you extract photos from an image card.

Once you email your files to him, he will adjust the tune and then send a new file to you. You'll need to load that onto the tuner. When he resends, he should also tell you how to do it.

Once you get this far, Vince will walk you through the rest.

Enjoy the tune.

ummm... an SD card reader.

There may be one on your printer, may be one on your scanner? If you don't have, I'm sure you could go to Wal-mart or target and get one fairly inexpensive .
