trunk ajar

ok i have a 07 ss and i installed aftermarket tail lights well they didnt come with a seal so i reused the old ones on the stock tail lights. i found out yesterday they were leaking water like crazy soaked my trunk area bad well i also think it messed up my trunk sensor cause now with my trunk closed it keeps telling me that its still open should i try to get a new sensor or just test to see if im still getting power back there any help or advice would be nice thank you

could take a volt tester and make sure theres power going to it.. thats step one before buying an expensive sensor.

lol and thats fucked up, they didnt come with seals?

yea the tail lights nevercame withseals but i just silconed the lights in and the sensor dried out and its working fine thanks guys
