Just so you guys know, though, it's NOT a 2.5" exhaust. It is only 2.25", I was pretty mad when I measured it because it's advertised as a 2.5"

let me know if thats good...its me against a grand am...but theres nothing done to the grand am so you can hear my car WAY better.
BTW: since some will probably wanna know...
i won by like a bumper...i had my rims on and it was the first time launching with them...so the launch wasn't as good as i would have liked it..

It's not even close to 2.5 outer... it's 2.25 inner diameter. It was definitely an improvement over stock, but I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known it was not 2.5 as advertised. I do love the sound, though.
huh weird so i guess the ion and cobalt ones are more different then i thought or i just suck horribly at measuring lol

So i found this on ebay and i found someone selling a brand new one for $240 shipped and was wondering if this was a good exhaust. Is this really 2.5" and how big is the muffler tip because it shows 4.5" which is way too big for me.

4.5?? mines not 4.5 its a 3.5 exit and the pipe is 2.25 i think... but beware of this exhaust... the resonator is really really low 2 the ground.... careful of bottoming out!! i did it 5 times the first day i got it on.... and i still do it!!! just not that much lol

yo man you going procharged? did you talkl to kevin from speed mafia about the kit he had for sale.. ?
finally got mine installed

and a pic of the "custom" hanger lol

still gotta tweak the hanger a bit.. probably gonna cut the rubber support a teenit bit so i can knotch it up a bit further and make it so the tip isn't resting on the cut out a little bit.. i'm also probably hacking off the tip and getting a clamp on 3.5 o 3" exit tip.. anyone know what the stock tip size is on the redline/ 2.4 exhaust?
overall i'm really happy with it.. it sounds beastly really kinda like an evo or something.. it'll be ridiculous to hear when i'm boosted thats for sure
as for performance i really couldn't tell you.. the gas station i filled up at didn't have 91 and 93 was like 40c more then 89 so i got 89 lol so it's a bit sluggish right now but it feels better now that i have the exhaust on

I also have the zzp header/ dp as well.. i love the sound .. it's finally quieted down a bit. but i think i still have a leak , which is due to the connecting part by the clamp isn't tightened enough... i love the sound.. it'll be like a beast when i'm boosted.. honestly at idle it sounds very evo esque i love listening to my car..
it's a nice low rumble .. once you get on it it still has some blurble .. i can only imaging how crazy it'll sound with a turbine breaking up the air
