Turbo

Im looking on Ebay to see if i can pick up a turbo that will fit my car. If it fits a 2.2 or 2.4 will it fit mine too without a S/C on it?

Does anyone sell a used TVS S/C or a better one than a m62?

ebay only has chinese turbo's if they cost >500 than its a knock off, look at www.treadstoneperformance.com for some nice turbo's and turbo accesories, also check www.turbochargers.com , and go to www.vulcanturbo.com for a manifold made for the turbo you pic

none that are cheap, the cheapest you could go would be buy the 2.4 kit from hahn, and buy a 2.4 intake manifold and TB, custom route is the cheapest, i say have vulcan turbo make the manifold, turbo, and dp for you, ask them if they will only piece that for you, and see how much it cost...than buy a IC piping and BOV from ebay the piping kit is like 100 shipped, the IC will run you 100 aswell, a BOV will be around 180-200 for a greddy or HKS one...once mroe pieceing it together will be cheaper

p.s. i pieced together my last turbo kit for ~1500

Depends on what kind of power you plan to make, however a new DP is required regardless.

It's not. A new turbo-specific exhaust manifold is required though.

Your gonna need a DP that reaches the turbo, and has the correct flange on it.

not worth the oney, i mean it would be cool, but the gains are not enough to justify the kind of money spent

x2

If your gonna spend that kind of money just go with the TVS, pistons and a head job.

If you were going to twincharge stick with the m66, You can lay down some good numbers with it.

Doesn't Hahn say that you can use the stock exhaust though?

hahn has an adapter that comes off the turbo and routes into the stock location of the header flange so you can use your stock exhaust yes...but that adapter is only for a gt28 turbo 5 bolt flange...actually idk..it could be a 4 bolt flange as well idk...

Ah, I see. The adaptor is what makes it work with the stock downpipe.

Ahh i didnt know he meant the hann kit specifically, I thought he was saying he wanted to do his own setup.
