Turbotimer?
if i had a car with a turbo, or anything that wasent self contained oil.. i would our you could just sit in your car for 30 seconds before you shut it off.
From what I can find on the net I think its oil cooled, so you will need one, I have not personally wired one up though, but from what I hear its not too difficult
Edit: nevermind its both you were right, id still say get one to be safe

Many 2-way car alarm systems have a "short run" feature which is the same thing as a turbo timer. If I were you, I would just go get one of those and that way you have a security system to protect your investment. I had the Viper system with the short run on my Cavalier and it was great and very functional. It was like $500 installed.
Not really worth it. If you've been running the car hard then you'll want to let it idle for 2~3 minutes to let the oil/coolant cool down but with normal driving you could do maybe 30 secs to be safe but you really don't have to.
it is an oil and water cooled turbo. plus it is a ball bearing turbo. if your running consistent max boost with the kit (8psi) which isnt that high you would max need a min to cool down n that is if u just finished boosting when you stopped. if you arent plannin on drivin hard just drive w/o or under 2psi for the last half mile n maybe leave a 30sec (way more than needed) to cool down, you can get away with full boosting for a while then just 15-30 second cool down with a water and oil cooled ball bearing turbo and not have any turbocharger damage.
