well im guessing he made about 12 grand last year hence why the small mods, and hes probably 16. AGAIN dont take this the wrong way we are just calling it like we see it! i did the same **** man when i was 16 i had a ford taurus with chrome wheels and tons of autozone stuff.

 

Ok after paying off loans and junk I had $350 bucks left from tax money. Financial security before fun.

As or the stripes I have looked into removing them but since they have been on so long from the factory and the previous owner didnt take care of the paint it would have to be repainted so f that.

Interior?? so lame as chipping grey is so much better, holes in seats are covered.

Grille... everyone has a insert grille

Fog lights I have been considering removing them since the HIDs have so much better light output.

In my opinion the halo headlights are junk and look way ricey and the Gen 4's are the only ones that dont have halos and with my leftover cash Retros were not an option.


However I respect all opinions and I just wanted to get a (feel) of areas to improve and where im doing ok.

 

so paint the interior black, like i did and get some black seat covers man, bright red just looks awful, and ive never seen an SS with that grille insert.

and Gen 1's are pretty much the only ones that look good in my eyes, with the angel eyes off they look damn good.

 

Im 23 and I am a shop Service Manager, I just got this car 6 months ago and the stripes and wheels came with it.

I spend my extra money where I can to make my car look better to ME the guy that pays for it.
Why is everyone so fast to judge someone based on how much money they make or how old they are?

I have spent my time working my ass off and paying off student loans and paying for a wedding while at the same time working on buying a house and land so please dont judge me and think that like others, things were handed to me because if they were I would be in an SS and not an LT.

 

I like the Gen 4's, the racing striped I could live with but the fog lights I don't like it looks cheap.

The interior i like the red on all the different parts but they don't match the seats, seats look pink like someone else said to much going on.....you need to keep it simple and it could look better than that.

There is room for improvement

Under hood again like the idea of painting the cover but you would need a red coupler to pull it all off
It's like putting on cloths man it's gotta match or something to look good.

I would definately pull those front mudflaps too. Gives it a granny look

anyways you do what you want i know how much fun painting parts on your car is.

I like your interior, my goal is a black and red theme but probably just a little less red. I was thinking about gen 4's but the more I see them the more I'm becoming not a fan (looks-wise). I'm not a fan of stripes or the lights but if you like them then do eeeet, I would. Match the couplers too

No. Someone earlier said he hasn't seen any with that grille and I was saying that there's alot who have it. There r few cobalts on this sight who are actually original. Most people have the Evo mod. Or Are blacked out. And lowered. And I have that grille because I'm 1 of 2 cobalt ss in my city.


I'm just saying that cops around my area allow 20%

the auxillary are just outta place, I'd drill holes in the lower grill slats to fit them and make them flush with the car.

I like the headlights, some call them rice, but anythings better then the shitty stockers lmao!

Coloured interiors just arent my thing, theres SS's on here with yellow/red/blue interiors and I hate them all to

but I wouldn't call your car rice, just loose/flush the Auxlights and it'll look fine, maybe consider lowering.

Seats match the trim almost exactly I guess its the sun putting a pink tint to them in the pic

i gave up on red after i saw this guys car and a few other strawberry trim paint jobs, but this is awsome!

 

I was originally going to put the fogs in the aux places but after the huge lighting difference in the hids I think I dont need them

My high beams just regular halogen h7s in the gen 4's

 

I think im going to put my handles and my window/locks to black and then it will look better.
