upper radiator mounts

06 cobalt 2.0 supercharged, did some headlight work and noticed that the radiator
seems to sits low and the upper mount rubber inserts barely touch the plastic stems on the upper corners of radiator.
the radiator doesn't lift up but can tip forward and back easily.
large space below the upper mounts.

the upper mount rubber inserts just touch the end of the corner studs, so it can "fall" but even with the inserts the radiator is "loose" free to tip.

is this normal?

The rubber inserts should fit loosely on the radiator plastic studs. You can bend the top mounts down a little for more engagement with the studs. I would check to make sure the radiator is properly placed in the lower mounts and that those are in good condition prior to modifying the top bracket.

so, it sounds like the upper mounts barely touching the radiator corner studs is "normal"???
none the less I will be remounting the radiator as the radiator should not be loose like this.
pics will follow
