Upper trans mount upgrade worth it?

I'm looking to go with rotated trans mount on my 09 ss tc. I've shopped and done my research and am going with ottp. Just wondering if the stage 3 mounts with the upper trans mount is worth it over the stage 2 front and rear mounts. I've searched and haven't found much on the stage 3 mounts.

Not worth it.

And go with Powell if you want the best. But they're significantly more expensive.

Not that expensive for an lnf because you reuse the factory rear mount with an included spacer. Can't remember what I paid but it was cheaper than the ZZP mounts I was running at the time.

I see the spacer on other ones too but that's just stage 1. Does powell not have both front and back? I'm not running that much power so I'm sure the stage 1 will be enough but I'd just like everything to be solid I just did my axles and don't want to have to do those again.

The factory rear lnf mount is good, and just requires you to install a spacer under it. You get a new different front mount that's more robust and stiffer. You will be happy trust me, I put them to the test on slicks at the drag strip.

Sounds good thank you for the input! I won't be putting on drag slicks and going to the drag strip so I'm sure I'll be more than happy lol. Do you recommend a motor mount then? Or should I just try the powell rotated front mount with spacer. I know my front trans mount is bad it's popping everytime I take off and brake which is my reason for the upgrade. And have read so many good things about the rotated mounts. Also just did my axles and would like to keep them a little longer this time around.

Every post I've read everyone regretted not going with powell so for an extra 25 dollars sounds worth it to me. Just hoping that's what the damn popping sound is.

To answer your question, yes get the upper ottp trans mount. But like recommended get Powell stage 1 front trans mount. Put the spacer under the rear trans mount. You will be happy. I put a new stock rear trans mount in when I did my Powell front mount just to save time haha.

The stock mounts is 90 dollars. That's only like 10 less than zzp or ottp rear mounts why wouldn't you just upgrade?

Upgrading the rear mount to a billet piece is a big upgrade compared to the LNF mount. The LNF mount limits the movement of the engine slightly more than the stock LSJ mount but still allows a lot of movement.

Stage 3 mounts are going on sale tonight btw.

Shouldn't be much unless they are installed wrong. Mine barely vibrates if at all.

The rear stock rear mount is fine. The stock bushing will probably outlast the ottp one anyways. zzp's newest mount is a rotated rear for cars with a rotated front mount for lower cars you can try that if u want. The front mount is the weaker of the 3 that's why you change it. The upper trans mount just came out not to long ago? And everybody did just fine without it for years. But now it's here so grab it Just cause it says upgrade in the description doesn't mean it's better. It's just different.

x2. People assume aftermarket means huge performance gain.

OTTP,ZZP, and even Powell all use the same mount bushing.

As for the front mount being the weakest. It's best if you know what you are talking about before you give advice..... Maybe you guys should play with the stock upper trans mount. It is in fact the weakest mount on the car. Don't take my work for it though, ask anyone who has removed there trans. The front mount and the rear mount are of a similar design and strength. GM also replaced the upper trans mount on the race cars, along with the front and rear mounts.
