Hey whats up guys , i'm fairly new to this forum , found it a couple weeks ago and it completely made me certain it was in fact a cobalt ss/sc that i wanted. I'm going with the black ss/sc and am having a bitch of a time waiting! I just wanna have it hehe i'm sure you all can remember the feeling. I'm wondering however , should i go with the black ss/sc with the plain black inserts in the car ( one like this in town could get this week i'm sure ) or possibly take the sacrifice of waiting a few more days and try to get the cobaly ss/sc with the red inserts inside? I know its a personal preference thing , but i'm just curious about what some of you would do in this situation. Lemme know , thanks guys.

Oh ya and do you think the dealership in town would still do the deal and just have the one from out of town ( bout 50 mins away ) sold through their dealership? I don't know if they do that but just a thought. Thanks again.

Definitely wait and get the inserts. And yes the dealer should just be able to trade one for the other if there is a good relationship between to.

hehe its unanimous! <SP> i'll be waiting for them, actually i don't think it'll make much of a difference waiting time. I've been waiting since last friday for word back on my insurance quote. I was quoted 2400 / year under my name, bout 210 a month Canadian, but i'm insuring it as a fleet vehicle through my parents buisness which cuts it to like 100 a month about 1200 a year! Just need the exact quote and the ****** never got back to us yet! This waiting **** is destroying me! ahhh! dunno if i can make it.

 

know what you mean, the waiting part is killer. When I got mine, the onethe dealer traded for had a prob with the accelerator sensor or some dumb thin like that and the part was on permanent backorder, so they had to trade for another one

I wish I would of just waited for the part to come in though, because the paint on this one isn't as good as the paint on the first one... I even had to make them buff out the trunk lid because it was dull. All's well though, I've had it since last Oct. and it's a blast to drive
