Walking sucks

Lets see here, I had moved from Florida to to West Virginia 3 years ago. Winters are brutal and the the summer heat is bad here. Had my car taken back from the bank. Been laid off 3 times in that 3 year span. Over qualified for my training. No jobs for me. Tired of walking in the rain sleet and mud. I want back into a SS/SC. Who wants to donate a car to me. Oh I forgot my wife has a major medical procedure coming up that requires her breast plate to be removed to scrape off some bacteria. A rare procedure
Just a rant but need help.......

I would even take a car with a blown motor right now, so I could put one in right now for cheap $....

Rice Burner and every one else who has posted, The $3,000 is being donated for a running car. Jobs here in the coal fields do not cater to what I have been doing for the past twenty years. Most places has had my apps for jobs and no call backs because they do not want to hire an Ex Correctional officer of the military. My reasoning is that I had some of there family members in my jail at one time or another. On a good note at 4:00pm my son said his mom and him found a Jeep and I got a call at a fast food place. One good thing may turn into another. Also got another call a Law enforcement agency called as well. Now for decisions.... I need prayers right now....

Sending some love your way. Don't feel bad, I have an ok resume and have had many interviews to which nobody calls or offers anything. Sucks when employers can afford to nitpick.

This, and even normal restaurants. They take anyone. I am a cook at a local chain, and 3/4 of our staff is work release. Plus, I think its just a lot of fun working in a restaurant.

So true, a lot of times I miss working as a cook in a restaurant it's just a really good time! Doesn't help that watching shows like chopped and kitchen casino I see people who quit high paying jobs(much higher than what I currently make ) to go become chefs and love it, makes me think about trying it out for real lol

It really is a blast!! And I love cooking to begin with, so I wouldn't give it up. No, its not the best paying where I am at now, but its paying my bills, so I cant complain to much. I LOVE those shows!! I have been wanting to apply for years now, but I sit back and watch em, its crazy some of the things people come up with. Its really intense.

Seems like a Jeep would be a good vehicle for where you live.

Well I am going to work a restaurant until Fall. I also got another job for a agency who does law enforcement with the Hatfield and McCoy trail system. The second job they pay for every thing. Take home Jeep Cherokee ,side by side and trailer, uniforms .45 glock, ammo What ever I want they pay for. They said I have about 90 miles of trails to maintain and eforce the rules..
Now onto the general ? of the day. I will be getting into another SS . turbo or supercharged. I have plenty of knowledge with the ss/sc. Also color I am thinking some thing along lines of a lighter color. But I liked the arrival blue...

A sedan is a cool idea. I have been seeing alot of those posted up looking good. Pratical and affordable. Found one for $8900 2009 with 34,000 ss/tc black with the interior black/grey..
Also my wife has been contacted by 2 major medical universities to do the operation for free since it is a rare operation. Only 2 people out of 200,000 get this done.
So things are looking better than the other day when this was shoved at me all at once...
Thanks again for the positive feed back....

Nice. If the car is not beat and no rust buy it sedans are rare and that one sounds decent with low miles for a 5-6 year old car.

I start work tomorrow and to boot it is a county job. Transportation work. Every 1000hours of safe driving I will be getting a pay increase. Benefits to boot as well. So the ? of the day. Save money and buy a SS out of Princeton Wv. Posted up on craiglist for $4500. The owner say the car grinds going into 2nd gear. Could this be the cables need to be adjusted? The car is an 05 with zzp stage 3 with a new gear box...

Also I have a shedule date to start the job riding the trails here in Wv as a law enforcement officer this fall. I am to excited about that one. Back to the academy I go.
