Depending on his insurance, it doesn't take much to be totaled. I mean look at my car, it was "totaled" haha

thanks for the concern everyone! it was my girlfriend and I in the car ( i was taking her to a doc. appointment) getting on the highway, and the rear end hopped a bit and threw the ass end out and helicopter death spin down the ramp smashing the guard rail on the front and rear then putting us into the slow lane of the highway!

cars coming straight for us, the car was able to start quick and was able to pull to the curb where it conked out

talk about an adrenline rush

but i recently upgraded to a 08 G8 GT for a weekend car
well now my everyday car for the time being

i bought the balt brand new and put 95k miles on it, i was so mad it didnt make it to the 100k mark

but im thankful we didnt get hurt.


as far as parting it out it depends on if they wanna total it or fix it.
i perfer a total (hate to say that) but if i can keep the car or buy it back ill be parting it out

Holy cow! Glad the two of you are OK. I had a near-miss in my daily driver the other day and yeah, it's definitely an adrenaline rush. I had a welding rig doing 10 miles an hour decide he wanted to use the fast lane to jump in front of the traffic he'd been sitting behind.

For a 5 year old car with that much damage, it's not getting fixed.
