Well... you can call me a traitor now.

Well boys... I just couldn't resist it.

She's red, supercharged, 5-speed and has 34 miles.

There's a few scratches that the dealer is gonna get out for me... then she's all mine.

Sadly, no G85... but... ya' can't have 'em all I suppose.

I must say, I have enjoyed the 2.4... and will definately be keeping an eye on all you guys as you get the HP tuners and FI working for the VVT Ecotec.

I'm gonna sit stock on my new SS/SC for a little while... since she's my first manual transmission car. I'll be saving for Stage 2 though, so watch out!

did you trade it with your parts on it, or did you keep those/

edit: if you don't mind me asking. what was the price before taxes?

Parts stayed on the car... dealer gave me an extra $1000 on the trade for the work I'd done.

Kinda sucks to have to get the maifold and exhaust all over again... but I'll get there when I get there.

congrats?! You'll be regretting it soon... with the money you lost in the trade you could have bought a SC and had vector or westers tune it for you...

Thanks for all the replies guys!

I just got 'er home... so lemme upload some pics.

I definately got respect for that transmission... it's a little harder than I expected. But I'm gonna beat around in my girl's Isuzu while I learn how to drive a manual. She can drive the "Chili Pepper" for a week or so. I know she won't abuse it.

first you trade your 2.4, then you let your girl drive the ss/sc?!
your going downhill quick, man! grab your testies and repeat after me, "these are not just marbles in my pocket".

so with the new car, does this mean a nick change?

I had the chance to tach her up for just a second when I was getting on the interstate yesterday.

Was stuck behind some slow ass work truck... doing like 50 down the on ramp. I saw traffic coming up rapidly on the interstate, so I held it in 3rd and gave the gas a little push.

All I can say is wow... I was doin 80 by the time I passed the truck. The 2.4 was definately not that fast.

For the 0% you had to take what the dealer had in stock. None of the SS/SCs in the area have G85... plus it's cheaper without it anyways.
