They hate hard on the base model, but give the 2.0s some love. Thoughts?

"Chevy took the blunt Cobalt and supercharged it so that it could punch way above its weight."

then they put up a picture of a TC, which they totally failed to mention.

the ss/tc was a very bland car indeed. no sound, and it was all business in the corners.

then chevy made the right descision to go back in time and bring out the ss supercharged.

Seems like a comparison apples to oranges list. Of course a car is going to be better than its base model if you throw some more power and goodies at it. They didn't mention the SS evolution from supercharged to turbo in the later years.

Similar to the 140hp Eclipses from 1995-1999, as opposed to the 210 hp Turbocharged (some cases AWD) models. Not in the same class at all.

Yay for the SS making the list though.

I don't like the base model of ANY car. I never buy base.
(except for the 3 cylinder metro I had at one time. LOL)

You guys don't read Jalopnik much, do you?

This article is completely based only on comments, the staff had nothing to do with it. They just compiled it.

If you don't like the fact they didn't mention the TC then oh well. The original comment didn't mention it and there isn't any research done to see if there is some other model out there.
