I'm starting to lean more towards the SS now that i've read people having problems with there SRT4's. What color would be better? Red or Black? Leaning towards the black.

I love both colors but i chose red... I mean, its red... lol. the color of sport. but black is very hot when its all cleaned up. tough choice, but i made mine Victory Red!

I'd say go with black, because red wouldn't provide a contrast with your tail lights (this is why I don't really like red cars). It's still kind of silly asking other people what color you should get, don't you think?

Whatever color you choose get the Recaro's. The standard seats suck.

 

I would not get black. My wife has a 5 year old Grand AM GT she bought new. It looks awful not. Scatches, chips ect. Now this is not to say that it cannot be maintained better but its a very high matinince colour and is unforgiving.

Plus it gets real hot in sunny days!

 

Yes, at first i was gonna get arrival blue.. couldn't find one with the options i wanted, so i got the red. I was going to get black, but unless you wash that car at least 3 times a week, it will show massive ammounts of dirt and waterspots. I had a black car, and left it under a tree during the spring. I woke up every morning and had to wash it because the car was green from the pollen.

 

Look at all of even the standard cobalts and make your decision. In the end its YOUR car, get what YOU think looks best from experience. Make sure you get what you want! Good luck!

 

Im still baffled as to why . If there was white option , I would been all over that .

i agree, silver looks very good on the cobalts. not too agressive & not too bland. just very clean color.

 

They do make a white cobalt LS

But go with black

and that's exactly why I got an orange one.

 

Black is the fastest color ... period ... end of story !
