What to do? Missing parts from Stage II kit!

Hey Everybody,

I finally received my ebay Stage II kit and lo and behold I'm missing the four pulley bolts! I'm sure the kit was sent with the bolts but it was all shipped in the orginal parts box and it arrived pretty torn up.

I went though laying all the parts out and to my dismay it looks like the four bolts fell out during shipping! So now what do I do?

I've got the seller on it but are these bolts something I can pick up locally? They are the heavy torque four star bolts, does anybody know the specs on them?

I was hoping to install it tonight!

Thanks for the help!

Order the bolts from these guys off of the following link.... Or just go buy 4 that will thread all of the way through the pulley without sticking out the back. I think the instructions say 15 ft/lbs (READ THEM FIRST TO MAKE SURE!!) so about any socket head cap screw would work....

By the way these guys ship stuff out FAST!!

Thanks Toolmaker,

Do you know what the specs might be on those? I would like to call around a bit and see if I can pick them up from somewhere on the way home and get it done tonight.

Yeah, they claimed you couldn't buy just the bolts.

thats some **** right there. I find it hard to believe that you cant order new bolts through a dealership. Well then again it is GM. Did you ask them if they the stock ones would work?

They can order them, they're just too lazy to research the part numbers. Pulleyboyz would probably be cheaper than the dealer, most likely quicker, too. Best of all, you don't have to mess with that craptastic bolt pattern. It's not even a regular star pattern, more like a swirl, more of a pain in the ass to loosen. Luckily I ordered the bolts along with my 2.8" since the dealer broke both of the stage 2 bits that came with the kit and had to drill out 2 of the blue bolts to get the stage 2 pulley off (they overtightened them with the original stage 2 install). Only tighten to 15 lbs.!
