what do u do for work to pay for ur balt?
Logistics Operator for INEOS Styrenics, the 3rd largest chemical company in the world.
Basically I work in the rail yard (both on the ground as a switchman and drive the switch engine), load and unload semi trucks using a fork truck, and keep track of inventory using an Excel spreadsheet.
12 hr rotating shifts, 3 days one week, 4 days the next. I only work 14-15 days a month PLUS 80 hrs a year vacation, 2 floating holidays, paid holidays (including today even though I didn't work). Plus full medical & dental insurance for my family, and $250,000 life insurance only costs me ~$250/mo. total.
I've been there 3 yrs and counting.

^Do you need a Degree for that job?
A degree in what? Sitting on my ass? LOL
It's tough work, physically, but easy as hell, overall. I only make a little over $15 an hour, but it pays the bills. I only have 1 car payment and one house payment so that makes it easy. Plus where I live is not exactly an expensive area either.
Our house payment, with taxes and insurance is ~$550 and our car payment is $250 (2007 Aveo).
