well i understand why a woman's insurance is lower just because of the way insurance likes to screw people around (not saying anything about your driving btw alleycat) but jb09 why is yours so low?

No offense. Mine's also low because I'm over 25 and a homeowner too, those were both pretty big discounts.

Yeah it used to be $65/month, don't know why it increased. I had an accident but it was after my last renewal, hopefully it doesn't jump again this time.

Because you have a SC I assume.

I am turning 20, not married, not a homeowner, don't even have full G license yet. And I am paying 10 bucks a month less.

Financing or not, I'd never have less than full coverage on any car.

$120/month full coverage

^^the only reason the lt is staying for a little while longer.. me want an ss but insurance for a 19 year old would be too high for me. i have better things to spend money on than insurance (btw i have clean history)

ha well my last car i had a 2001 mitsubishi galant gtz... it had about a million problems and i got it for 5000 when i got it. had lowest insurance on it as possible. probobly because i was in high school for most of it and i had to pay for the car and everything so.. ya haha. i wouldnt waste my money on insurance if my car is worth less than a year and a half of insurance payments.

Yeah, at some point the value of the car vs price of insurance comes into play, but I typically don't keep cars that long to have to worry about it.

$120 a month through progressive, Full coverage, $1000 collision and $100 comprehensve deductibles.

I'm 23 not married, dont own a home. When I first got my car (2007 LS) I was paying $295 a month through geico (I was 20 then) for full coverage with a $1000/$1000 deductible, which was more than my car payment.

It did drop considerably after the first 6 months though, like to 180ish i believe. But then I was bored one day and was looking at quotes online and found progressive and got quoted for 160 a month for my current policy, It just has been getting cheaper and cheaper every 6 months when my policy renews.

I pay $900ish once a year. 21, never had a ticket, never had an at-fault accident. Haven't had an accident since I was 18.
