well, it was in my tool box that i always have in the trunk, but i forget about it and dont know where it is. so i leave it in that little compartment. also, you never know when some idiot tries to rob you while you are walking in the car. can be used in other worst case scenarios as well.

mine would always fly open but after i installed the interceptor gauge the wiring some how keeps it shut, they touching back there

used to keep my broken key fob in there

 

i stuff the obd2 end of my hpt in thru the back of it. when it isnt getting used. and route the rest of the wiring underneath the carpeting to the center console and have the hpt box hidden behing the kick panel on the driver side. i also i have my afx wideband hooked up down there so i can plug it into the hpt box.
