I used to keep my money in there, but now that I have an Arm Rest in my LNF, it is not being used.

This. I keep my 3 garage openers in there. 1 for work gate, 1 for complex gate, 1 for garage. They are velcroed in place on the side so I can still put sunglasses in there. I leave that thing down every time I pull into my garage and when I get to work. Just about broke it off more times than I can count.

My interceptor is mounted in there and the compartment is typically open 100% of the time so I can view IAT1 & IAT2.

A knife would scare off plenty of people. Here in Canada nobody has guns on them so it's not a threat. So knifes are usually the most dangerous weapon anyone would have.

I don't carry anything because I have no reason to be afraid.

You must live in a decent area lol. Lots of trash out here in the DC area that wouldn't mind trying to car jack someone or rob them

Yup small town. But I do travel into Winnipeg a couple times a week. Highest homicide rate and car theft level in all of Canada.
