What do you think?

Hey guys... I am selling my 2008 Saturn Vue Redline https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/complete-cars-101/fs-2008-saturn-vue-redline-awd-112838/ and am most likely going to get another Cobalt (sedan this time) and was wondering if you guys think this is a good deal?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...top&cardist=30

I really want a 2.4 (can't stand the 2.2's... sorry guys!) for a little better power and I want a sedan. So... it's either that guy, or this guy http://www.carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/...8&photocount=9 I guess in the end... i'll have a 2006 SS/SC and a 2007 SS Sedan or 2008 Sport Sedan. lol....

22 views and no replies? cmon guys...

You'll be lookin' sporty in your 4-door, automatic SS!

Just teasin' ya brother.

Couldn't tell you about car values south of the border. I'm up in Canada, but I'm sure the difference is decent (cheaper down there). Go Canada, eh?

Anyway, best of luck with your new purchase!

I really like my 08 Sport (SSNA) Sedan with the 2.4. 17,500 is a tad high for an 07, especially since you can order 09's. 16,500 or so would be OK as it has only 420 miles.

The 2.4s aren't as slow as you think. Mine, with a full exhaust, CAI, and traction mods, can beat mildy modded 1.8T VW's and Audis.....even taken down an RSX Type S or two. But please don't get an auto 2.4SS. And don't give me the "its my daily driver/commuter car" excuse for choosing an auto. I know your capable of driving a stick b/c you have an SS/SC, lol. I've put 44k on my 5-speed 2.4SS.....and fought traffic hundreds of time in it. Hell, I'm still on the stock clutch even! Man up and get a 5-speed model, lol.

Yes indeed. My friend, who has an '01 Trans Am with an SLP intake, Hooker cat-back and a Hurst short throw was even impressed with my car. We were crusing back to his place next to one another the other day, and his girlfriend did the 3-2-1 countdown with her fingers and I though "****, why not".....we both downshifted and took off. Obviously, he took me.....but he didn't pull on me THAT hard. He was expecting less from my car. And don't worry, we shut it down at like 80mph, and it was on a 65mph highway, so it wasn't some ******* street racer move. But when we got where we were going he was like "damn Josh.....your cars pretty fast". I just can't wait till I get it HP Tuned.....I ran a 9.6 @ 75mph on my 19"s un-tuned on a cold track last summer. Looking to get some much better times this summer when I get tuned....and this time ill put the stoc 17"s on up front when I go race

Well this will be primarily driven by my wife, and it will be our 'travel' car... that's why i'm looking at the automatics.

Any more input on the silver 07 or the blue 08?

Oh... it was the carmax link... but they removed the link... crappy. it just got shipped to the nearest location for me to look at though... will check it out tomorrow in person. It's a 2008 Sport sedan with like 500 miles on it, pretty much fully loaded for 18k

The auto SS/NAs are dogs kinda.

Get the 5 speed.

And stock a 1.8T VW only takes you on the big end.

With my mods I rape them stock. It take a decently modded one to give me a good run.

The SS/SC is faster, but you may be surprised how it is isn't that much faster.

Get one, you won't regret it

its a full second faster..there is less distance between a 2.2 and a 2.4 then a 2.4 and a 2.0 in terms of the 1/4 mile.
