do u need to add anything to the ottp stage 1

Ok so im thinking about buying the ottp stage 1 kit but I was wondering what else I would need to go with it like any cooling mods or something? Or should I go with full exhaust =1300 bucks instead?

u should be fine with just a h/e and stage 1. if you go smaller than a 2.8 meth should be in your equation.

metric **** ton of cooling mods will be more helpful than a full exhaust

it won't make as much power, but it will be worth it

OTTP heat exchanger, OTTP dual pass, make sure you IC pump is in check, maybe even the Killer Chiller if you're looking to drop all the money

What would b the next cheapest cooling mod besides meth and h/e?

Also is the pcm better to get theirs and send mine in? Or send mine in first? Any problems with theirs?

Damn man..

I mean, by all means you surely got a nice setup.. you could have just gotten other choices (still new, not used) for a LOT cheaper than that... But Atleast you got yourself a decent setup.

Personally, i would Send mine in. That way, the VIN is right on the PCM, and just think, thats your cars computer... I just dont know how it would settle with a foreign one.. Although there is probly no difference, thats how i like to think..

The CASE relearn is done at the dealership, for (should be) Half hour shop time. Your car should not be driven hard until this is done. If you just send in your PCM, the turn around should only be 3-4 days.

What it does is Match up the position of the Crank with the crank sensor.

Ha... i got the 42s because.. well.. i didnt have enough to buy a harness at the time, and i was getting impatient..

If you send the PCM away, they tune it and send it back, you literally just plug it back in and "race"

my 2 cents -

ottp stage 1 and ottp h/e kit. you will like then save up for the exhaust later if you want more gains.

full header-back exhausts on stock SS/SC will just make a bunch of noise. you arent moving enough air yet to benefit from full 2.5" or 3" exhaust.
