What is the goal for your car?

I was wondering what your goal is for your car. Example: My goal, is to make my car drop into the 8's in the 1/8 mile. And drop into the 13's in the 1/4. Another goal is to have 300bhp. I think i can do this with the mods i have now plus the GM stage 2 kit. My goal for my car isnt no 600hp drag car or anything crazy. Just wanted to know what your plans are.

I'd like my car to run mid 13's and I'll be happy. Hopefully it can do that with what I have now and a Stage 2 kit.

If you want your car in the 13's just get a set of drag radials and that will put a stock SS/SC into the 13's.

THe cobalt is a great car. All I want from it is something that's fun to drive for a daily commuter.

Whether this involves some drop springs w/ good shocks or a CSC/turbo kit... we'll see.

This car is fun. And its reliable. Never fails to put a smile on my face. What more could someone ask of their daily car?

well right now i am working on getting the car to show status...i would like to take at least 2 1st place trophies this year and maybe a best female if i can. i plan on competing at the funk flex shows and HIN PA, AC, and possibly MA. and will hit some local shows too. I plan on being at a car show a week. right now the car is having massive body overhall .. still unsure about the system i plan to do or the performance work. right now working on getting a second job to be able to get the electronics done since most of the money i have spent was for the exterior (kit, exhaust, rims) now its pretty much a waiting game for parts to show up. we have gotten a lot of things in but i dont want my car in pieces while we wait for back ordered things. my car might possibly be used as a prototype for some performance parts...we are in negotiations with a local shop so if i am lucky might have a pretty decent sponsorship by April.
with my car its more of a business card for the business to showcase my bfs work. i enjoy shows tremendously, i even model in some of them just for the hell of it...I always have a blast and its a good promotional tool.
I know i will probably get a lot of grief because im not pushing the performance of the vehicle....but i have other fast cars to play with...lol.

My goal has always been to have the most possible power while maintaining a reliable, street legal car. That gives me a limit of 325 HP on 93 octane, but the system I'm installing is capable of 475 HP on 110 octane race gas. So if I want to go the track for some fun on the weekends, I still can.

It's my commuter, and I haul my two babies around in it, but a better system, drop and tinting added to a little more speed in my 2.2 sedan would make me smile. Oh yeah 17" rims and tires also

I would have loved remain ding-free, but...... also have already broken two pieces of interior trim by trying to run RCAs for the sub while sleep deprived in the cold. Woops

you wont need 400 horse to run 12's in this car.

my goal is a 12 second car under warranty, obviously with drags on. these cars are easily 13 second cars with street radials.

My goal is to run my Cobalt for its warrenty time using GM scheduled maintenance (to prove that these are good cars if maintained correctly with no mods) and then to hand it down to one of my sons to mod the hell out of it.

I'd like it to run 11.9s or better while being daily driven. Its a stretch, wont make it that far untill warrenty is up. Under warrenty, I'd like it to run a low 13, possibly high 12.<- on slicks
