pulled the cover and the carpet out of the trunk... after a gallon of Rain-X windshield washing fluid unscrewed itself in there and spilled every drop. Smells nice back there now. I love how we can pull everything out down to bare metal back there.

Had that happened once lol but it was coolant. Had 2 on the truck and once fell on top of my wrench set and it punctured a hole by the handle and had like half the bottle drip.

I drove it last night in the rain/snow and had a hard time seeing more than 50 feet in front of me. Turns out one of my headlamps burned out. Didn't even get a courtesy flash from oncoming drivers, wtf!

Fun Fact: The highbeam still works even if your low beam burns out. One 9007 bulb. Going to have to hit up Advance tomorrow for new bulbs.

Yes, ******** here drive with their brights on all the time because they are too lazy to buy new goddamn bulbs. I hate them, and flip them off, flash them, and honk at them constantly.

I just drove with one lowbeam headlight and the fogs on.

I agree, I ******* hate when people have the high beams on too. That and those shitty bright blue HID headlights that people drop in their pieces of **** with halogen reflector headlamps.

Got all but the passenger side seat done today. Driver seat doesn't even look like it was repaired. Patience is virtue.

Installed my SS/SC downpipe and front sway bar. Also installed my 2.5" cat back from ZZP and my ZZP rear bar! Waiting on this PB blaster to work its magic on my stuck O2 sensor. If that doesn't work, I'll try flame! I can't wait to hear this exhaust system!!!

Some local parts store may carry it but you can definitely order it on their website. They always send free goodies too.

Drove around. Tried to get my cat readiness sensor to activate. It takes forever. Is there a trick to getting it to work

The stuff I found that works better than pb blaster is Nuts Off (O'reilys' carries it), originally bought it because it was on sale and laughed at the name. Also like United Lab's Glacier Break, not sure were you can pick that stuff up (use it at work, sales guy is a friend of our fabrication shop manager)

My old sensor wont budge. Its getting rounded off. Ive soaked it, heated it and I'm tired of messing with it. Im heading to grab a replacement (NTK 21043). I've read about problems with anything other than AC Delco replacements and the problems with Bosch. hopefully this sensor is suitable. I wish more autparts stores stocked more AC Delco products.

If you run all these in order you should have them all done.
General Motors Driving Cycle
The OBD II Home Page - On-Board Diagnostic System Information
AutotapŽ OBDII Diagnostic Scanner
General Motors Driving Cycle

A complete driving cycle should perform diagnostics on all systems. A complete driving cycle can be done in under fifteen minutes.

To perform an OBDII Driving cycle do the following:
  1. Cold Start. In order to be classified as a cold start the engine coolant temperature must be below 50°C (122°F) and within 6°C (11°F) of the ambient air temperature at startup. Do not leave the key on prior to the cold start or the heated oxygen sensor diagnostic may not run.
  2. Idle. The engine must be run for two and a half minutes with the air conditioner on and rear defroster on. The more electrical load you can apply the better. This will test the O2 heater, Passive Air, Purge "No Flow", Misfire and if closed loop is achieved, Fuel Trim.
  3. Accelerate. Turn off the air conditioner and all the other loads and apply half throttle until 88km/hr (55mph) is reached. During this time the Misfire, Fuel Trim, and Purge Flow diagnostics will be performed.
  4. Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for 3 minutes. During this time the O2 response, air Intrusive, EGR, Purge, Misfire, and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.
  5. Decelerate. Let off the accelerator pedal. Do not shift, touch the brake or clutch. It is important to let the vehicle coast along gradually slowing down to 32km/hr (20 mph). During this time the EGR, Purge and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.
  6. Accelerate. Accelerate at 3/4 throttle until 88-96 km/hr (55-60mph). This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 3.
  7. Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for five minutes. During this time, in addition to the diagnostics performed in step 4, the catalyst monitor diagnostics will be performed. If the catalyst is marginal or the battery has been disconnected, it may take 5 complete driving cycles to determine the state of the catalyst.
  8. Decelerate. This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 5. Again, don't press the clutch or brakes or shift gears.

Nice. We don't have an O'Reilly around here, but hear their radio commercial all the time lol. I was turned on by free all when my buddy bought my old exhaust. We swapped two exhausts in under 2 hours from start to finish. Free all smells wicked, but loosened up two salt exposed and rusted exhausts like a boss.

Just put in some rain x windshield wiper fluid. Also, had to take my license plate light out to push back in the led that popped out. Thought the led was starting to go the other night but I guess it just rattled it self loose. Its already a tight fit because the bulb is a bit bigger then the oem bulb. Had to some filing already. Guess a little more now.

Mine sounds stellar too! Now the only thing I need to figure out is the SS/SC downpipe is sometimes rattling against the fe5 bar I put in. Maybe there is a little room to move it up if I loosen the 3 bolts? I wonder if I should pick up an SC exhaust mani. Not sure if it exits a bit higher than the L61 mani. All my seals are good too. Put in a new downstream O2 sensor and all seems good.

Changed both headlight bulbs, in the Advance Auto Parts parking lot, in the 14 degree Fahrenheit windchill.

The good news is I can see again. The bad news is my fingers are still numb... and I am pretty sure I scared this lady when I got all pissed off and started swearing when my driver side headlight would NOT come out of the bracket.
